Drop Dead Fashion Accessories
In today's world of rapidly changing fashions, it's not easy to keep
up with "What's In" every now and then, unless of course you're a fashion creator or a celebrity. And when it comes to accessories, I think that's the most difficult part of shopping. There's tons of variety in everything be it shoes, handbags or jewelry and what to pick and what not is a major question.
Some accessories make their mark for years in the fashion world and some disappear within a limited span of time. The reason being they're not accepted by the audience. But then there's stuff that is "Never" out of fashion and probably never will be. And that's when I pop in. I'm going to share with you some ever lasting fashion accessories which are easy on the pocket and always wearable. Let's get started.Sunday, June 24, 2012
Oily Skin Problems and Remedies
Many beauticians and dermatologists consider
oily skin a blessing because it is the only skin type that prevents the formation of aging lines and wrinkles for a long period of time. Though it is true, but still, I would've been happier if my skin didn't produce so much oil, specially when I don't need it.
My favorite Styling Products.
I've always been reluctant to buying hair sprays due to all those chemicals in them that can cause hair texture to go dry and cause more damage if used regularly. But then I also realized, the massive damage, hair straighteners and curlers can cause to the hair. So I had to change my mind. Fortunately the products I currently use are great and I don't think I'm going to switch to something else for a long time.

Shopping off Facebook is basically one of the most fun experiences you can have and also one of the most dreadful experiences you can go through. Tribal Print Kurtas from Ideas by Gul Ahmed
While at Ideas some time ago, I liked a few of their stitched outfits. I bought two of them, both themed with a tribal print in pretty colors. So let's get started with the review.
The first one is a A-line, round necked, pleated beige kurta with an African tribal dance print. I have never worn such prints and they seemed very different from what I have seen of kurta designs usually. The colors used are totally African. I believe the designs have been printed onto the fabric through heat transfer, because the print texture is sort of rough.
More Specifications:
- The fabric is pure lawn.
- The kurta does shrink. That's why I bought a size medium in the first place. Keep the shrinking part in mind, if you intend to buy.
- It did not lose any color when I washed it. That's one advantage with heat transfer. But keep in mind, the designs will eventually fade. But that will happen gradually, so it's not something to worry about.
- Shirt length: Around 50 inches.
- Sizes available: Small, Medium, Large
- More colors? No.
- Sides open.
- I wore a shameez underneath as the fabric is sheer.

Catrice Cosmetics Lip Appeal Lip Gloss 020 First Kiss-Review, Photos, Swatches
Catrice Cosmetics Lip Appeal 020 First Kiss |
Result: I had been looking for a daily wear lip gloss as I don't like wearing bright lip colors to work. A nice nude shade with a touch of glimmer was what I wanted, and so I suddenly came across a Catrice Cosmetics counter at Naheed's. They have a decent range of products, so I grabbed the Lip Appeal gloss in first kiss, as it is a beautiful, very sheer, lip gloss, which is basically perfect for every day use.

Color Studio Professional Crackle Nail Color White-Review, Photos, Look
Color Studio Professional Crackle White Nail Color
Result: The Color Studio Professional Crackle White Nail Color is my first purchase from the brand. Recently there's been a lot of hype regarding crackle polishes so I thought of trying it out myself. Color studio is perhaps the only brand in Pakistan which has crackle polishes. I spotted a display at Naheed's and bought White Crackle instantly. So here's what I think about it.
