I've always been a fan of single Eye Shadows from The Etude House. This one's my latest pick.
Result: Single eye shadows from Etude never have names. I don't understand why though, cause it would be much easier to describe a shade with its name instead of a number, which doesn't sound very exciting. Anyway, the BL524 is a beautiful violet pressed powder eye shadow with a touch of grey. I have never had or even worn a color like this before. When I swatched it at the store, it seemed pretty cool. Contains lots of silvery glitter specs, which makes it a good choice for a night time look. If you're looking for a toned down smokey eye, this is perhaps a nice color to work with. The packaging is pretty simple and I was relieved that the jar lid stays intact after closing it, as that's not the case with many other single eye shadow pans I owned. The color payoff is great. I'm wearing it, without eye shadow primer in the picture above, and it has produced a good amount of color. It stayed on for around 5 hours, which I think is Ok. It is easy to blend and looks nice on its own. The only place where it lost points from me is, that is not water resistant. Now that's a disappointment.
The pan holds 2.5 gm of the product and comes with an affordable price tag of Rs. 190/-
Rating: 3/5
Price: Rs. 190 each/-
Available at: General and Super Stores across Pakistan. You'll find it at Sakrani's and Majeed Brothers in Hyderabad.
Conclusion: It can be worn to a place where one will not encounter water at all. Recommended? To be honest, no.
