Result: Whenever I'm out to test a new brand, the first product I usually grab is the lip gloss. Same case here. For Bourjois I tried out the Effect 3D Shine Lip gloss. First of all, the packaging is pretty impressive. The product rests in an acrylic tube with a matte gold top, which twists open and close pretty easily.
The shade I have is No 1: Beige Elastic, which is a perfect reflection of it's name. The formulation is pretty sheer and the gloss leaves a hint of color with a dash of shimmer. Don't expect this to give you nude lips. I love the texture, as it is non sticky and non smudging. It leaves behind a bit of shimmer, even if it dries out. I was disappointed with the staying power, as it stays on the lips for 2 hours, hardly, and it vanishes if you eat or drink anything. I like how it smells though, sweet and sorbet like. The brush is soft and very precisioned, which makes the application around the corners pretty smooth.

Conclusion: I'm still willing to give a few more shades a try, as I love the quality. I'm ignoring the staying power for now. Recommended? Yes.
