Result: The packaging is impressive. The eye shadow rests in a cute little container with a gripped top lid that clicks open and close easily. No 27, is not your basic pressed powder eye shadow. It is glittery and felt different when I rubbed it for a swatch. This is the kind of dull gold, which will perk up a smokey eye and add a dash of sparkle to the eyes if worn alone. It can even be used as a highlighter under the eyebrows or anywhere on the face. It's a little tricky to work it that way, but if you're good with makeup, you'll figure it out. The color payoff is great; I seriously didn't expect it to show much before I swatched it. It stays on for about 4-5 hours and may stay longer if applied over an eye shadow base or primer. Blending requires a little effort and I'd recommend using fingers or applicator for this one instead of a brush.

Makeup Academy (MUA) Eye Dust Shade 4-Review, Photos, Swatch
Result: The eye dust rests in a nice little
round acrylic jar. It has an additional covering on the inside with a hole in
the center, which is concealed with a thin peel off covering. This is my main
concern as it can cause the powder to fall out and scatter all over within the
jar, only for it to waste when you open the jar. The company should have
provided a covering for the hole, as I cannot think of taking this while traveling.

Makeup Academy (MUA) Out There Plumping Lip Gloss in Buff and Nude-Review, Photos, Swatches
Result: I
like how they're packaged, quite professional I'd say. The tubes are acrylic
plastic and there's enough product in their to last a good month if you don't use
them a lot. The one in the front is Buff, which is a warm pink. When I wore it,
I couldn't feel any difference except for the added glossy shine as the color
is very similar to my natural lip color. The second one is Nude, which exactly
is a perfect nude shade and will brilliantly show on fairer skin tones. As for
me, I'm a medium tone and nude did not show very well on my lips. The
formulation is thick and creamy and glides on nicely over the lips. The main
issues I have with this stuff are:
- Firstly, they are not pigmented enough. So if you're looking for more color like me, you'd be disappointed.
- Secondly, they cause a burning feeling. I have never experienced such a feeling with any lip gloss I have worn. As soon as I wear any of these, my top lip burns badly. So bad, that I have to remove the gloss. My lips are awfully dry naturally, so maybe I'm allergic to something from the ingredients.
- They don’t smell very nice.
- The plump is not as it is meant to be. It does soften the lips, but there’s no “plumpy” feeling.
- The staying power is hardly an hour. And lesser if your lips have touched a glass or food.
The Makeup Academy Out There Plumping Lip Gloss comes in 8 shades. The tube does not say anything about the quantity.

Conclusion: I was super excited about these glosses but they turned out to be a huge disappointment. I’m actually happy, that I didn’t get more of them. Recommended? No way!
