Leisure: Chill Out Cafe, Times Square, Dubai

If you reside in the UAE or have plans of a visit or vacation, don't forget to checkout Chill Out Cafe located at Times Square, Dubai. It's the first of its kind there and I was quite surprised when I got there. If you've seen or heard of The Ice Hotel, Sweden, this is something very similar to that. Since temperature inside is freezing, you'll have to dress up first. The management provides a parachute-fur coat and thick fabric shoes. A must see spot for tourists and locals.

Upon entrance you get to see famous landscapes and monuments of the UAE.

Even the seats and tables are all made of huge blocks of ice.

You get to choose between a small menu which will be served once you're inside. We chose hot coco and brownies.

Outfit of the Day: Traditionally Green

 

I bought this beautiful floor length outfit from Almirah last year, which is a sister brand of the Junaid Jamshed Co. Since its launch I've bought from them several times and I love every outfit that I own. Price range is similar to that of J. collection. The only difference is that Almirah focuses on a more ethnic style and that quite much shows in their designs.

Junaid Jamshed Signature Jewelry

Junaid Jamshed is one of the most versatile brands in the country. They never fail to impress me with every new collection and sometimes take an extra step to experiment with trends and offer something new. This time they've come up with their own line of deodorants (i don't have the picture now) and a jewelry line. I picked these two beautiful pieces from their outlet at Dolmen Mall, Tariq Road. Jewelry isn't available at the Hyderabad outlet, so I guess for now it's only stocked at Karachi. I bought a pair of stacked oval earrings in gold and diamante for Rs. 1185/- and a gold toned stud ring for Rs. 1285/-. The prices may seem steep but its worth it if you go for the brand name and quality. I hope you liked my picks. Enjoy!
