Packaging: E.L.F Headliner is packaged in a plastic bottle with a pump for product release. It comes in a box printed with details and it also protects the bottle from getting scratched. The pump isn't very convenient as it doesn't push in with ease and requires effort. It doesn't release a lot of product at once though. MUA Bitter Sweet (read review) comes in a plastic case with a transparent lid attached, which snaps open and close. You can pick the product with a brush or your finger.
Formulation: Both blushes are cream formulated. Headliner has a thicker texture whereas, Bitter Sweet is rather light.

Application & Blending: Headliner takes a bit of effort to blend because of its consistency. It is an HD blush but I didn't notice anything extra ordinary about it. You'll need to apply it with your fingers as a brush doesn't work with it. Bitter Sweet can be applied with fingers as well as a brush and blends very quickly and evenly.
Lasting Power: I didn't notice much of a difference in the lasting power. I love both of these for that. You don't need to reapply at least for a few hours.
Price: Headliner for Pkr 650/- plus additional shipping charges and Bitter Sweet for Pkr 350/-
Availability: I got Headliner from US Cosmetics and Jewelry on Facebook and Bitter Sweet from Just4Girls.pk
Verdict: I'd choose Bitter Sweet over Headliner on terms of quality, which both products offer alike, affordability and availability because Headliner is only available through select Facebook pages at the moment.
Have you tried any of these products? How did you like them? Do share your experience. Ciao!
I hope Just4Girls.pk stocks up on MUA soon! The cream blush sounds amazing! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's great! Give it a try :)
DeleteNice Post... :) I have used both of these and bittersweet is such a lovely shade and much easier to use.
ReplyDeleteYes bitter sweet is way better :)
Deletefor me, Sweet bitter over Elf HD blush in headliner any day everyday too! Honestly, I'm not a fan of cream/liquid based blushes. Because I have combination skin type. So powder blushes are what I dig for. I have tried several MUA products including their blushes, but again they didn't impress me much.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Some MUA products have disappointed me as well. Powder blushes are a better choice for oily skin but I like this one for it's pigmentation and it stays on :)
DeleteThey look very similar. Great comparison! :) x

DeleteI love MUA foe their affordable and good quality products.
ReplyDeleteTrue dat :)
DeleteI love comparison posts. Not much of a liquid or cream blush person as a powder blush is always my ease-zone.
ReplyDeleteYes powder blushes are rather easy to work with.
DeleteNice comparative post :) I like both!
