Derma E Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citrus Facial Peel Review, Photos

Derma E Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citrus Facial Peel

As a kid, I always saw my mom applying her homemade orange peel powder to her face. She would tell me about its benefits for the skin. She peeled oranges, let them dry, and ground them into a coarse powder. After I grew older, I tried it. But, I was less than happy because although I had oily skin back then; it did not work for me. The orange peel powder darkened my skin instead of brightening it. I even tried many expensive, dermatologists prescribed serums and creams, but none of them, unfortunately, were good enough. At that point, I knew that vitamin C is good for the skin. But somehow, I could never find a vitamin C product that worked for me until I came across Derma E.

Review:

Just a few months ago, I received samples of the Derma E Vitamin C Renewing Moisturizer, and despite being hesitant, I still tried it and I was surprised. I had never noticed this kind of skin restore in years. After this, I read some Derma E reviews online and some time ago I got the Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citrus Facial Peel and it's a miracle product. It also works to restore skin, has age-defying formulation, and is a part of the gluten-free skincare.

Upon opening the jar, the product looks like a liquid orange paste with crumbles. It is drippy, so apply a moderate amount, and either wrap a towel or cloak around your neck. It has that light orange fragrance which is okay and it doesn't bother me. I gently apply it to my face and wait for 5-7 minutes. Although the time mentioned on the leaflet is 3-5 minutes, I just wait some more. Also, the product should be used after cleansing. I follow this step, although my skin is dry, and it becomes dryer after cleansing

After use, my skin feels very cold but I have experienced no tingling or irritation ever. When time's up, I rub my face gently in a circular motion with my fingers and wash off with cold water. My skin has this very nice beautiful glow, and it feels very fresh and I'm happy. I just wear some moisturizer for added softness.

before and after

Honestly, I don't find a good use for the provided spatula because it's just too small. It's better to use a facial brush to apply the product so you don't get your fingers in the jar. The best thing is that you only have to use the peel once a week and not more so you don't over-exfoliate, especially for people with sensitive skin. The 56 grams jar is going to last you at least around a month or maybe or more, depending on how much of the product you use.

Final Thoughts:

I'm in love with this product and will get more of this. I'll also look into other Derma E essentials because they have products concerning other skin-related issues. So, if you are someone who has sensitive skin and struggling to find the right Vitamin C products, try out this brand and you will not be disappointed.

Pros: Gluten-free, Soy-free, Vegan, Cruelty-free, affordable.

Cons: Orange crumbles might fall during application.

Rating: 4.5/5
